Jungfrau – Top of Europe (3,454m / 11,330ft)

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the scenery of Mt Jungfrau in Interlaken is extraordinary. The cogwheel railway takes passengers from Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch – the top of Europe. At 3,454 meters, Europe’s highest altitude railway station is a world of rock and snow.

Alternatively, a helicopter ride is recommended to get close to the Alpine peaks like the famous Eiger, the Moech and of course, the Jungfrau.

Interlaken is the perfect base for visiting the Bernese Oberland region and the Jungfrau – Aletsch – Bietschhorn, some of the world’s greatest glaciers.
